We have found that so many couples prefer this turnkey pricing method. Not only does it save money, but also a tremendous amount of time and worry over various entities working together. The staff were super friendly and attentive. The service they provide would easily cost triple or more if you wanted the same thing in Charleston or other cities.” Save the Date Fee Events are based on a first-come, first-serve basis. To reserve your event date, a refundable security deposit must be made. This deposit is to secure against any damage that might occur to the property and is refunded after all vendors have returned the property to its condition prior to the event. Other Events Hopsewee is a great location for private parties, showers, rehearsal dinners or just to visit for lunch. We serve lunch and conduct tours Tuesday through Saturday (unless we have a wedding or special event). The River Oak Cottage hosts up to 60 people for a seated dinner, and alfresco dining on the grounds accommodates additional guests.
